I thought about that but:
thompson has 589 + 268 vertexes ( part 1 and 2 )
sten has 598 vertexes
It's still far from the 1000 limit.
Could it have to do with this part of the tiki:
animations

Hello
I've been trying to convert the Sten Mark II to AA. I'd like it to be client side only ( in place of Thompson )
Everything works great untill the reload ( playerview ) quicks in. The gun ( barrel ) disappears and can only see the clip.
The exact same thing happened with the Soviet ppsh 41.

Any clues on what could be causing this ?
I followed the same procedure and succeeded in converting the Italian Moschetto, Carcano and the Beretta.

Hello
I'm trying to do something that might sound "weird". I'd like to make a model composed of:
1- Heerprivate top ( skd model )
2- British tank corporal bottom shorts ( skd model )
Some ww2 soldiers ( UK ) had shorts with a top similar to the heer private.
So I opened both models, deleted the parts that I didn't need.
The tiki refers to the different parts and does look pretty good in the multiplayer menu. But ingame, of course, the player is not holding the weapon correctly. The weapon is held very high and is positioned top left of the screen.
My guess is that it has to do with animation. Not sure though !
Anyone knows what I need to look for or what I need to do?

I would check the bone assignement again, and maybe compare it with a model that doesn't have this problem.

Hi Jed
The process has worked very well with almost all the gear, equipment and skelmodel I converted.
I bumped into a problem with two models.
When importing the skd with it's skc file I get: "Debug 00.0000.00000"
does it mean the file was corrupt in the first place ? i'm not sure!

Yes it's true for most
What I'm trying to do is to convert the italian para and inf so that they can be used on aa. ( player with gear and helmet)
I know "cobra" has done some work in this area. Would you know where I could find a tutorial for this kind of conversion?

Hello
I'm pretty new to all this so here is my question:
I'd like to know if it's possible to convert a player model from Breakthrough to Allied Assault. Are the skd convertable?
Do not want a tut but a simple answer. Because if it is, then I'll buy LR and find my way eventually.
