Thread: LR3D is good enough, how about upgrade the default keysettings? |
|
|
Hello,
LR3D is good enough, how about upgrade the default key settings? I mean it would be better if LR3D a little bit more like maya or 3dsmax on using habbit. For example:
1. Rename the Left and User lable of the viewports to Side and Front, and the top, front and side viewports are locked by default;
2. Press Space button can maximize and minimize the viewport where the cursor is.
Thanks.

Too many faces, vertexes, edges can cause this problem. MOHAA can not support too many faces models.

You are very correct 3ds max tutorials is very easy to use with LightRay3D. I must say box modeling is very easy in LightRay3d, that thanks goes to you (Prometheus) for making it so easy to use.
Also you want to take in account what you making the model for. If it for a game you can put alot detail in the texture then the mesh. Least this what I read and use.
Here a book I use Modeling a Character in 3ds max Second Edition by Paul Steed |
Thanks for the tutorial, they seemed making models so easy and practiced.
Hope Prom can write some human and weapon model box tutorials.

Now things became much more easy, thanks Prom.
Sometimes the line graph is out of the edge when the layout is the best, is there a way to avoid this?
Thanks you.

Is it very necessary to make a model less parts but detailed?
I mean should we pursue to make less parts but detailed models? Does anyone know the gun model in COD2 is a 'gang mounted' one or an 'almost entire' one?
Thanks.

LR3D is well worth every penny I pay, too. But Lite version can attract more users, more users means more ppl will write tutorials, that is what I really need.

Maybe rebuild the cache or recount the forum status in the forum admin control panel can resolve this problem?
