Is there any plans to enable export to Collada format, complete with anmation and textures, multi-layered?

Reason I ask is I'm looking for a new 3D tool to allow both modelling, animation and good UV mapping. If it allow painting on 3D that would be great but not essecial.

Our next generation of Targetware is going to make great use of Collada and it would streamline the modelling process a lot.
