Mmmmh, i think i'll wait for 1.5, if it ever will born.
I tryied 1.4 and find it not so much ineteresting compared with other software i'm using, some freeware and other commercial.

Hi achilles,version 1.4 is current version.
1.5 is the beta version that in development
by the end of July 2009 was going to be the
Finally release LightRay3D v1.5(rc1) beta
but it might be 2010 now ,sometime
no one know for shure.

current version is 1.4 the beta is 1.5 if
you buy 1.4 you can save your files on 1.5
beta when you register

Hallo to you all. I found this program while sealing on Internet. I'm now using (trying to use) several 3d softs, even commercial ones, but even looking for a quite easy and powerfull to begin. I think, at a first look, that Lightray3d may be the one. But reading on the forum it seems to have a slow development and few users. I ask you: do i make a mistake if i buy it? Will this soft be abandoned by its developper?

I guess that, as there has been no word from Prometheus now for many months, that either something has happened to him or that life's other worries have taken precedence. Pity really, I thought that I was on a winner. Oh well.................................sigh

Hi, Prometheus So what year was that By, the end of July v1.5 rc1 will be out ,am just jokeing
i know it hard to give a date because i have the same problem it never work out that way,there alway
something that has to be done yet ,but i hopeing that you get RAYscript and SDK
working thow, so i can write that plugin ,looking forward to the Finally release LightRay3D v1.5(rc1)
after your long hard work on your new re-coded 1( rc1) ,so i take it, there going to be a LightRay3D v 2.0
untill then think about putting in a Particle editor engine in,that would be great to have that in your program
then i can build a billboard sign in a game, that have a Special FX effect billboard, useing a Particle Editor System in LR3D

Nice to see your still working on Lightray 3d.
Are there any updates in compatibility with video drivers under Vista with rc1?
I hope to see a trial version to test it for myself.

Prometheus, in your new version v1.5(rc1) can you add a Particle
editor engine with ray script for creating special effects, for if this is
your final version of Lightray3D_1_5. A RAYscript that can use other script
like c, or LUA language or python . It would help to have
SDK particle system in LR3D, the codeing would not be to hard
write and if i can put it in Rayscript, For i was going to a write a
plugin but i cant use the rayscript in beta, so if you could write one
were we can add on to the script template , that would help and it would help
you bring more people to your program
if they can use a particle engine that uses initialization adjustments
like a grid parameters Property Interface windows ,if all they had to
do is click on a point ,for initialization of each created particle point
and make adjustments with a mouse click of the particle
system physics in the particle system ,like a particle behavior parameters
template window, useing physics engine of the parameter Position
of the particle in the world, if be it 2D or 3D.Velocity of the particle,
to determine its movement along the timeline,i know you can work
this in your program if you takeing the time ,that is if you have
the time i know your working on other programs,give this a try this could be fun
and you already have all the tools you need in your program LR3D to build particle engine

Finally a release date for v1.5(rc1) is set.
By the end of July v1.5 rc1 will be out for registered users to test.
This will be the final version but users will have the chance to suggest any last minute performance changes or report any bugs.
