I really hope to see Lightray3D 1.5 soon myself. The 1.4 has all the functions I will ever need and seems easy to use, but it's not fully Vista Compatible.

I would have bought it as soon as it was available... waiting for over a year now.

I hope your haven't lost your interest to continue the development of this great and affordable tool. Crying
Are you afraid of competing with other 3d applications? Confused No. Please don't.
BTW, if more convenient and time-saving functions could be added in future, this will increase the value of lightray3d and you may consider raise the price, too.

IMO, if lightRay3D could be updated constantly and we are well informed what is going on in your future plan, there will be less complaints and more people will anticipate these and be interested in your tool.

Do you have any blog so that we know more of the progress?
Could you post somethings or any work you have done from time to time in this forum?

BTW, good support is very important.

P.S. man, i am hope for try v1.5 already 1.5 years. but this unavailable. you announced great changes in program if v1.4.merge with v1.5. but where is it? why possible try 1.5 but only for registered users all this time? =)

No, I don't think so.
You see, those tutorials were not videos but actual actions in real-time(mouse clicks, cursor movement etc.).So it got too complicated(codewise).
New tutorials will be 'true' captured videos.

It seems that video tutorials (inside help menu) of v1.4 was removed in v1.5beta.
Will it be added back in v1.5?

All bugs reported by users are fixed plus others not reported.
Can't say the same about rendering ones.
I should have asked this in the first place, could you email me the *.ray file because I wasn't able to reproduce the bug despite the fact that you posted directions.

There will be a release candidate available to registered users(final product, including beta bug fixes, user suggestions etc.).
No exact date at the moment.

After a long period of development a beta distribution of LightRay3D v1.5 has been released.
Registered users can try out the new features and help out with debugging.
Comments are also welcomed!
